New Year
Hi all, hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year.                        Great News, Rio got his second title in November.  i am soo proud of him he is really a great dog, but even more important now that we are in the midst of lambing and kidding he is so very gentle with the babies (just as my beloved Dwight used to be, sometimes I think he is there whipering in Rio's ear 'don't touch the babies').              This year the sheep and goats are both birthing simultaneously.  So any one that would be intersted in some breeding prospective bucks and rams, give us a call or e-mail.  So far we have about 6 ram lambs to pick from and about 4 or 5 buck kids to choose from.  They are soooo cute!  The lambs are Gulf Coast Native ( all white)  and the kids are Fainting goats ( black and white)  We also still have one ram lamb that is about 5 months old, he was a late season born lamb, but is pretty nice and should have nice horns.  It is doubtfull that we will have any Fainting does for sale as we are still building up the size of the herd.  But might possibly have a few GCN ewes available for breeders.        It is almost like Christmas all over again every morning, going out to find new babies.  If I can fiure out how to take the pics with my digital camera and get them downloaded and then onto the site, I will post some pics, but please be patient, I'm pc illiterate.
