Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
Well I don't know aobut you, but I'm about over winter.  The sheep don't seem to mind, but the goats agree with us and I feel pretty sure that the dogs and horses are ready to walk on something besides ice.  I have taken some pretty 'cool' (cold) pictures and will be downloading some later this afternoon.

Lambing and kidding time!
Well it's been birthing time here.  Last count is 9 kids and 15 lambs.  We will have a few for sale, so anyyone interested in lambs or kids, just send us an email or call.  We do have two bottle babies, one lamb and one kid.  We have just about finished our round pen and herding pens, next we will be working on the sorting and treatment pens.  So it won't be long before we can get back to work on the stockdogs.  We will be attending another stockdog clinic in March and would like to brush up on some of what they are already good at, so we can step on up to the next level to get ready for trialing.  We will be working the Aussies and the Kelpies as well as Rose's Briard.  Of course we are still trying to get all the leaves up and for some reason, the trees are still hanging on to some leaves, so we will be burning a lot longer into the season this year.  Not to mention still trying to get the brush burned from the trees we took down for the new pasture, (sigh), well off to burn, will post some more later.
